More specifically, the unique, hand-crafted wines that have become the hallmark of the northwest wine industry. Of course, we're not alone—today, there is a great deal of buzz surrounding our little corner of the wine world.
But, while northwest wines have created a stir, they are, with few exceptions, still difficult for the average wine drinker to actually track down and taste for themselves. Truth is, for every northwest wine that makes it to your supermarket shelves and dinner tables, there are dozens more that are equally deserving.
These wines come from small, family run wineries. They are produced in small lots with great care. And they are rarely available outside the wineries themselves. Many are great "finds", the kind you'd uncover if you could spend the better part of your days traveling the back-roads of Walla Walla, the Willamette Valley or the Columbia Basin, as we do. Meeting these winemakers and tasting these wines, our concept was born: to share our discoveries with wine lovers the world over, and open new markets for these independent producers.
Call it a sort of modern day wine co-op where everybody wins. We call it Northwest Signature Wines. And we're excited to share it with you.
